Stefanie Von Pfetten plays the role of Madeline St. John on When Calls The Heart. She is a Canadian actress.

Portraying the role of Mrs. St. John, Stefanie makes an entry on the popular series When Calls The Heart in episode three of season 10, 'Oh, Baby.'

In the fourth episode, 'Great Expectations' Bill Avery gets familiar with Madeline and her son, Jamie.

Despite that Bill has a strong feeling that Madeline is up to something and her visit is linked with some secret purpose.

He learns about her intention to stay longer in the town. As per Madeline, Jamie loved the town which is why she wants to stay there.

The actual motive behind her visit remains a mystery, but she expressed her interest in purchasing land in the Hope Valley which was denied by Bill.

It will be interesting to see what secret Madeline holds in the upcoming episodes.

Pfetten was born to father Baron Hermann von Pfetten and mother Heidrun Reel on a cold November in snowy Canada. Her parents are originally from Munich.

After finishing high school, Stefanie moved to Vienna, Austria, then Munich, Bavaria, where she learned art history and interned at Sptheby's in Vienna.

Later, she moved back to Vancouver in the hope of becoming an actress. Simultaneously, she appeared in many science fiction movies, including Seven Days, as Lilly in 2004's Decoy, and others.

She has two sisters, Gabriela Marie-Elisabeth Baroness von Pfetten is older than her, while Verena Alexandra Doraya Baroness von Pfetten is younger than her.
