Michelle Kwan gave birth to her first kid with Youna Kim, Kwan's husband, and the baby's father.

On Wednesday, the 41-year-old former figure skater gave birth to her first child, a baby girl named Kalista Belle Kwan.

Previously, the athlete was married to Clay Pell, a Coast Guard officer. They married in 2013. However, Pell filed for divorce in 2017.

In 2021, Pell married Youna Kim, her former high school classmate. The new mother and two-time Olympic medalist shared a photo of her bundle of joy on Twitter, along with a video montage of her growing baby belly.

As she delivered the news of her daughter's birth, Kwan said she was "overjoyed," and "tears of ecstasy" poured down her cheeks.
