Secret Chef Cheffy voice is actress Arden Myrin. Chef Lanky is the winner of Secret Chef on Hulu.

Cheffy is the host and antagonist of Hulu's newest cooking show.

Fans even say that the character is basically Clippy, having changed clothes. It is a sassy and demented animated character that laughs mischievously while hosting Secret Chef.

"Gee, talking chef hat, that sure sounds like every other cooking competition show," Cheffy gushes at one point, which indeed is true.

The show feels familiar with all other shows that have a talking hat host.

As the show does not have a traditional host, the chefs will receive guidance from the cheeky, animated talking hat that will task them with a variety of cooking challenges.

The Secret Chef trailer saw the participants waking up dazed and confused inside their cooking quarters. "It's like Alice in Wonderland but so much scarier, one says.

They eventually congregate and meet their host Cheffy, who reveals to them that there will be no judges in the competition.

"Instead, you chefs will judge each other," the hat continues. "But to make sure you judge fairly you’ll cook in secret, you’ll taste in secret and you’ll judge in secret."

Myrin, who voices Cheffy, is an American actress and comedian, known for portraying Regina Sinclair in the Netflix series Insatiable.

Her television credits include Grey's Anatomy, Hung, Key & Peele, Insecure, Insure Amy Schumer, Psych, Suburgatory, Bones, Fresh Off the Boat, 2 Broke Girls, Shameless, and Gilmore Girls.

She appeared in films such as Bachelorette, Wrong Cops, Wrong, Morning Glory, and Daphne & Velma.
