XO Kitty was filmed in different parts of South Korea. It mainly featured the Seoul sites.

The places used to film XO Kitty include Gyeongbokgung Palace, Ssamzigil shopping mall, and Bukchon Hanok Village.

Gia Kim says shooting in Korea was a dream come true for her as she grew up in South Korea, and during that period, she reunited with her family.

As a result, she explored her country and discovered it through the show.

The show began filming in Spring 2022. It was a very different experience for the lead actress Anna Cathcart who had visited Korea for the sequel 'To The All The Boys Franchise.' 

The actress said to Distractify, that she fell in love with the place. 

Multiple locations have been chosen to play on-screen scenes on The KISS campus.

Kaywom Art School

The exterior scene of the show has captured in Uiwang at Kaywon University of Art & Design.

There was a special location for the KISS library in Sejong. It's the National Libray of Korea.

The cast member stayed two hours away from the location. Anthony Keyvan praised the book as she felt it was so cool, per Tudum.

Other Locations In Seoul

While sharing the interior of the series, it has shot around the Seoul area.

The show shared the KISS welcome party, featured at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in the first episode.

They shared different sites, including DDP contains parks, the Dongdaeum neighborhood, a design museum, and retail stores.

The scene where the KISS student joined the hike is the Military command post in Seojangdae. In addition, the camping trip site is on Yeongheung Island.

While shooting the scene on the camp trip, they stayed at a Mykonos-themed hotel.

The grocery shopping site Seoul Central Market is a Hanaro Mart, a Korean grocery chain branch.

The massive party scene was shot in the Paradise City club Rubik. In the series, it was denoted as a debaucherous nightclub.

Han River, a public island park, was also featured in the series.

The Han Hotel Yuri and her family live showed exterior parts of The State Tower Namsan while the interiors of the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

They also featured some parts in the Pacific Hotel ballroom.

Goyang

The airport scenes were shot at ICN, featured on the show as Incheon Internation Airport in Incheon, South Korea.

Meanwhile, some final parts of episode ten were shot at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang.

Cheonan

Episode eight background captured the end-of-year talent show in Cheonan at the Independence Hall of Korea.

The crew and the cast member traveled outside South Korea to shoot some parts.
