David Mayer De Rothschild family owns the Rothschild banking company in London. It was established by Mayer Amschel Rothschild in the 18th century.

David was born to Sir Evelyn de Rothschild and Victoria Lou Schott as the youngest of three kids. Similarly, he inherited his middle name, "Mayer," from the founder of their banking empire, Mayer Amschel Rothschild.

Carrying his founding ancestor's middle name, David has the inspiration to make a change in the world by pursuing environmental activities.

Being the oldest son of Sir Evelyn De Rothschild, he is first in line to take on the responsibilities of his father. David is mostly involved in environmental activities, so Anthony has been the only son helping the family business.

Anthony has been married to a Danish-British model Tania Strecker since 2005.

Similarly, David's sister Jessica De Rothschild is the oldest among the three children of Sir Evelyn. Jessica is five years older than David.

She has worked as a film producer in Hollywood and is married to a film director. Her husband Sacha Gervasi is a renowned British director.
